This Build: Durable, Efficient, and Ready for Weather
The job required steel masts to support solar panels across an open area. Because the location was exposed to wind and snow, we knew these masts had to be strong and secure.
To meet these needs, we selected the right steel grade, reinforced key points, and kept the design lean. This helped reduce weight without giving up strength. At the same time, we made sure the final product could be installed quickly, saving time on site.
How We Built a Solar Mast
We handled every part of the fabrication at our Chelmsford facility. Our team used CNC equipment for precision cuts and our CWB-certified welders completed every joint with care. After that, we applied protective coatings to improve durability.
Each unit was clearly labeled and packaged to make transport and setup easier. As a result, the field team could focus on installation instead of sorting parts.
The Result: On Time and Built to Perform
The masts arrived on schedule and fit perfectly. The project team completed the install without delays. Now, the system is generating clean power, backed by custom steel built to perform in the real world.
