Why We Supported PG Charity Golf

At S2 Metal Fabricators, we believe great work extends beyond the fabrication floor. It includes how we show up for our community, and this past weekend, we were proud to do just that. On Monday, July 14, we joined industry peers, partners, and local leaders at the PG Charity Golf Tournament at Timberwolf Golf Club. Hosted by the Patrick Group of Companies, this annual event brought the region’s industrial and construction sectors together for a cause that goes far beyond the work we do every day.

A Strong Turnout for an Even Stronger Cause

The tournament raised funds for two important organizations making a difference here in Northern Ontario:

  • HSN Foundation – NEO Kids Fund, helping children and families access care close to home
  • Compass, supporting youth mental health and developmental services across the region

The day may have been about golf on the surface, but at its heart, it was about impact. From tee-off to dinner, there was a sense of shared purpose across every foursome. We were honored to be part of it.

Why the PG Golf Tournament Matters to S2

For us, community involvement isn’t just a line item, it’s part of who we are. We believe that strong businesses help build strong communities. That means showing up, lending our voice, and contributing to causes that reflect our values.

The PG Invitational was a great reminder that when local businesses work together, we can create something that truly lasts.

Thanks to All Who Participated in the PG Golf Tournament

We want to thank the Patrick Group for organizing such a meaningful and well-run event. We also want to thank everyone who sponsored, participated, and supported the cause. Whether you swung a club, shared a meal, or helped behind the scenes, your effort matters.

We’re proud to stand beside you.

Final Thoughts: We’re in This Together

At S2 Metal Fabricators, our work is built to last, but so is our commitment to the people and places we serve. Supporting events like the PG Invitational helps us stay grounded in what really matters: connection, care, and community strength.

We look forward to seeing you out there next year.
